The building is 198 meters high and is owned by Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) in the center of the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa.
The building, located in the Upper Hill area of Nairobi, is 163 meters high. It used to be the tallest building in Kenya and East Africa as a whole when it opened in July 2016 after its construction that lasted more than five years.

1. Leonardo, South Africa
The Leonardo mansion is 227 meters high — with a 56-storey floor. The mansion is located on 75 Maude Street, approximately 100 meters from the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
According to the CK network, construction of the palace began on November 17, 2015 and led in height in 2019, officially winning the title of the tallest building in Africa.
2. Carlton Centre, South Africa

3. Britam Tower, Kenya
Britam Tower, is 200 meters high and is located in the Upper Hill area of Nairobi. It was officially opened to the public in 2018, with the UAP Old Mutual building being the tallest building in Kenya.
The 31-storey building, which began construction in 2013, was completed in September 2017, and boasts a unique design.
In 2018, the Britam Tower was the first hall in Africa to be awarded the Emporis Skyscraper award with a 19-year history after being named the 10th best in the world.
Located in the Upper hill area of Nairobi the 31-storey building offers a spectacular view where you can see the central area of the capital Nairobi as well as its surrounding areas including the Nairobi wildlife park.
Its construction was completed in November 2017, and is now owned by insurance company Britam Life Assurance Limited.
On a beautiful cloudless day you can see Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya on top of the palace.
4. CBE Headquarters, Ethiopia
Its construction has ended the rule of the African Union (AU) conference hall in the city.
The 46-storey building next to the Ras Desta hotel on Damtew Road is 150,000 square meters at the headquarters of the state-owned bank.
5. Nairobi GTC Office Tower
The 172.8-meter Ponte City Palace is located in the South African city of Johannesburg. Built in 1975, the 54-story mansion has been named the first circular mansion in Africa
7. UAP Tower, Kenya
The former UAP Old Mutual Hall in Nairobi previously held the position of the tallest building in East Africa with 33 floors
It was followed by the list by the 35-storey Twin Tower in Dar es Salaam with a length of 153 meters.
8. NECOM House, Nigeria
According to the CK network, NECOM, formerly known as NITEL Tower and originally The NET Building, is 158 meters high in the center of Lagos city.
It is the tallest building in Nigeria and the rest of West Africa. The building, completed in 1979, is the headquarters of the state-owned Telecomunication Ltd.
9. Tanzania Ports Authority Tower, Tanzania
After its completion in 2016, the 40-meter-long mansion is the headquarters of the Tanzania Ports Authority.
10. PSPF Towers, Tanzania
The PSPF Towers building in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania is 153 meters high and serves as an office.
