Pegasus is the name of a very secretive hacking program. The disclosure of a network of investigations into the hacking program has shaken the world.
Through the hijacking program, more than 50,000 phone numbers have been identified as being on the list of hijackings by the Israeli intelligence technology company NSO, which developed the Pegasus hijacking program.
The investigative news network team successfully discovered that among those targeted in the NSO recruitment were journalists, human rights activists, company managers and about 600 politicians and government officials from more than 50 countries.
The recording app has the ability to turn on the camera or sound and record all communications including reading every phone message and everything that is done on your mobile phone.
What is not clear is still whether the people whose mobile data was on the NSO list have been hacked or not.
Among the people targeted in the coup are high-ranking politicians in the European Union, such as the former prime minister of Belgium and the current president of the European Union, Charles Michel. And even Louis Michel's father's phone number is on the NSO list.
