Tanzania's health minister has begun providing statistics on people infected with the corona virus, according to local media.
Health Minister Dr Dorothy Gwajima has been quoted as saying that as of July 8, 2021 a total of 408 people have been diagnosed with corona disease while 284 are using oxygen cylinders.
According to Mwananchi Newspaper, Dr. Gwajima made the statement on Saturday while giving education on how to protect himself from the disease in Dodoma.
This recent move underscores Tanzania's efforts in th fight against Covid-19.
